These three images are closeups of the angel pictured below. I really love all the texture in this painting and thought you might like to see it too. Many layers go into a painting like this….collage papers, layers of acrylic paints, (then I sand the painting to let some of the color from the collage papers show through) a layer gloss varnish, crackle medium, a raw umber wash, then I seal it with two layers of matte varnish. All these steps are worth the end result
