Finishing Tutorials

In November of 2019 I decided to start recording myself finishing my cross stitch and punchneedle models.Screen Shot 2019-07-19 at 1.33.46 PM

Everything is printed at my studio for my patterns so when I scan the finished punchneedle or cross stitch (before fully finishing) and bring it into my computer, I use Photoshop to “tweak” the colors so the printed cover for the pattern is as accurate as possible. Pictured here is a how my covers are designed.

Many designers show the fully finished piece on their covers and I considered doing this myself so you could have an idea of how to finish your piece. I got a lot of feedback from customers saying they liked my covers the way they are because it’s easy to see and the color is accurate. Photography can be tricky to get accurate color.

I decided, instead, to keep my covers the same as they’ve always been but to start recording myself finishing my punchneedle and cross stitch models and putting the web address on the pattern so you’ll have a direct link to watch a video of me finishing.

I hope you enjoy this added feature to my patterns.  Blessings, Teresa
