Whimsy 365: Day 110

Happy Wednesday. I can’t believe how fast the days go by. Makes one realize how short life is and to make sure those you love know how you feel. Live for today. Love with all your heart!

Whimsy 365: Day 108

I don’t know if I already shared this or not…if so, my apologies for repeating it. The Country Bears calendar that I’ve been creating for Amcal since 1999 has come to an end. The 2017 calendar will be the last year they publish it. Amcal was one of my very first licensees and I am sad to see that relationship come to a close.

On the brighter side, I may have another publisher interested in picking up where Amcal is leaving off….cross your fingers 😉

Like they say, “When God closes a door, He opens a window.”

Blessings,

Teresa

Whimsy 365: Day 107

Happy Sunday! Well, this makes 12 sketches that would make a great calendar….I will be submitting the work this coming week. Wish me luck!

Today I am making homemade cheesecake for Ryan’s birthday celebration. It’s his favorite dessert. Can’t say as I disagree :)  Enjoying time with family today. Hope you are too!

Blessings,

Teresa

Love this chicken! Only one more to sketch for having enough images for a calendar :)

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. After being in Atlanta last weekend, it’s nice to be home.

So the idea behind this sketch is that the snowman is photo-bombing the hens! lol

I almost have enough sketches for an entire calendar! We’ll see what happens.

Whimsy 365: Day 104

Today is our youngest child’s  birthday! Ryan is 18 today. Hard to believe. We’re going out to dinner tonight and celebrating with family on Sunday. He’s a mature, kind, funny, genuine, smart, admirable and good young man. So proud to be his Mom.

Blessings,

Teresa

These two chicks will be painted like the white and black hens we have. They are called Brahma chickens and they are striking. Time to get the brushes wet!

We are in the frigid days of January here in Michigan. My hands get so cold throughout the day. Hope you are staying warm!

Whimsy 365: Day 101

I survived Atlanta!!  AmericasMart was so fun!  I loved reconnecting with my licensees and visiting with fellow artists. Oh and the weather….it was sunny and in the upper 40s lower 50s….wonderful for walking off those big dinners on our way back to the hotel. My feet are still recovering from the two days of walking but it was worth every step.

I can’t wait to tell you all about what I experienced at the market. I am doing a video and blog post this week which will be posted at Gather Dream Create.

Blessings,

Teresa

PS – I am hoping to license my chicken art as a calendar hence the Valentines day image 😉
