An addition to my Whimsy Chicks line. A couple of years ago I created a line of fun, whimsical girls in watercolor. I really enjoyed painting them but the sketching process is even more fun so I decided to add a few new ones. Below are some of the finished ones I created a couple years ago.

Ha! Did you notice my note under the sketch. Well, I do think sometimes maybe I shouldn’t be posting my sketches because there are people that will steal an artist’s work and use it as their own. It’s happened to me many times in the past and I’m sure it will happen again. Here’s the thing…..it’s copyright protected…..doesn’t mean someone won’t steal it…but if I find out about it, I will go after them to cease and desist…..and if that doesn’t work, I do have a lawyer.
I’m not going to let thieves keep me from sharing my art with the world as God has intended me to do. He gave me the gift of art to be shared so that’s what I’ll do until the day I die. It makes me think of terrorists and their goal of making everyone so scared that they won’t travel or fly on planes. They want people to be filled with fear and well, terror. We can’t let evil prevail. Keep on living. Keep on Loving. Keep on Praying for Peace. Keep on Creating. Let God handle the rest.

Crazy weather we’re havin’! It was so warm yesterday (50ish) and today it’s snowing. Pure Michigan 🙂
I have to tell you, I am ridiculously swamped these days. We are gearing up for our show in Nashville where we sell my punchneedle and cross stitch patterns. We are bringing 200 of each new cross stitch and 150 of each new punchneedle pattern. I have 15 new XS and 10 new punchneedle so that’s a TON of work! I also need to finish the models!!
Also, Atlanta has proven to be VERY successful as I am getting a lot of requests for new art for products from my wonderful licensees. To see a video of why going to Atlanta is so valuable to a licensed artist, visit Gather, Dream Create.
The angel coloring book is getting a slllllooooowwwww start 🙁 and the e-course I am planning is on the back burner for now….at least until I meet all the art request deadlines.
Briahnna’s bridal shower and wedding are fast approaching and I feel unprepared!
Oh well, have faith. It all works out in the end…..according to His timing, right? (what would I do without my faith? I thank God for my Faith)
