Whimsy 365: Day 173
I LOVE this quote. Not sure who created it. I did some research but didn’t find an author.
If we all could remember this when we are having a rough day or someone treats us badly. We could let things roll off our back a bit easier.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our oldest son, Kyle. He turns 23 today. Love ya to pieces!! Where did the time go? When the kids were little people would always say, “enjoy every minute of it because it goes by fast.” I did enjoy their childhood and I’m pretty sure they’d agree that we had lots of fun but everyone was right….it does go by fast. At the time you are living it, it doesn’t seem all that fast but once they’ve grown up and you look back on those precious years, you realize it was a blink of an eye.
So I will be “one of those” people who say…….Enjoy every minute of it, because it goes by fast!!!!
Blessings,
Teresa
Whimsy 365: Day 172
My Dad was a bird watcher. He loved birds and when I’d see a different one, I’d call him, describe it to him and he’d look it up in his bird reference book. I miss that. I miss so much about him. His smile. His sense of humor. His love. His stories. His hugs and kisses. The way he’d rub his belly when he laughed. How his lip would quiver when he’d be telling a fib. His calm, patient nature.
I hold on to the promise that I’ll see him again some day. And for that I am thankful.
Blessings,
Teresa

Whimsy 365: Day 171

Whimsy 365: Day 169
Today I think about Mary, the Mother of Jesus. How much she must have been grieving. If only they knew they’d see him again in all his Glory.

Whimsy 365: Day 168
Today our Lord suffered, died and was buried. Thank you, Lord for loving us so much you endured so much pain, suffering, and humiliation in the face of evil. May we never forget what you endured in the name of love and may we ALWAYS give you praise.
Blessings,
Teresa
Whimsy 365: Day 167
If you stay focused on your goals and WHY you set those goals, your fears will be crushed. Be a girl boss and live life to the fullest doing exactly what YOU want. There is sooooo much freedom in that. I can help you. Just ask me.
Blessings,
Teresa
Whimsy 365: Day 166
This is sooooooo true. Art is therapy. This is my mission with Gather Dream Create. I want people to bring creativity into their lives as a stress relief. I currently give art and biz tips via videos each week (well almost every week). I have some how-to videos and plan to do more of those. I also have workshops and tutorials for purchase.
Working on an e-course that will help ANYONE learn to be creative and through art find balance in life. It will be a 9 week course. SO EXCITED!! There will be nine videos where I will show how to create a painting. At the end of the nine weeks the paintings will all coordinate and hang on the wall in rows of three. Anyhoo…..my goal is to have it up and ready by the end of summer. (I have a daughter getting married in May and our youngest son graduating in June…yikes) There will be limited space…especially for the first run of the course so stay tuned so you can get in!
Blessings,
Teresa
Whimsy 365: Day 165
OK….now this one is my favorite….because she’s a whimsy chick artist!!! And it’s so me. Art is my life. If I don’t create for a few days, I am seriously on edge and anxious. Doing these daily sketches help but I NEED TO PAINT MORE!!!!!
Whoo…I feel better now. Just had to get that out. Hope you are having a creative day, loves.
Blessings,
Teresa
