The color isn’t very accurate because I took this photo with my DroidX phone….the actual colors are more muted…..not so much pink around the head either….but I love this painting so much I had to share it with you as it will be a week or more before I get it professionally shot.
I have been wanting to paint with a minimum use of color and use more sanding to get a more grungy look for a while now……and now that I have done one this way, there definitely will be more to come!

This is beautiful. In every way.
Thank you Sherry
I love it too, it reminds me of a photo I have of my son. We were camping and a bird flew to his finger and sat there.

What a treasure…not only that it happened but you snapped a picture of it!! My oldest son had a way with birds too. When he was really young he walked up to the bird feeder at my parents house, squatted down and patted the head of a chickadee. Also, when he was about 12 a tufted titmouse knocked itself out on the window, Kyle ran outside picked it up and held it until it got its bearings. Then it flew around him landed on his shoulder as if to say “thank you” then flew off. Sooo cool! I guess some people have that gift Thanks for sharing, Debbie.
I love this one too.
will probably opt for one with scripture o it though.
