Even though the Nashville Market was only a few weeks ago, we have a new release. The Wren Sampler was suppose to be a Nashville Release but I didn’t get it back from the framer in time. No worries! We are ready to share it now.
This is an original sampler. I included some of my favorite motifs…..wrens, deer, flowers, angels, a red house, butterflies and sheep! The wren’s song is so pretty even the sheep are looking up at the sweet birds.
Your favorite shop will hopefully have this sampler for you and if not, ask them to get it for you. We’ll start shipping April 3rd.
It’s that time of year again! The Nashville Needlework market is the 7-9 of March and it’s coming quick! I’m so excited, as I am every year, to share with you what I’ve created (with the help of many talented ladies) for market.
The Nashville Needlework market is not open to the public. It is for needlework shops to come and purchase products for their customers. It is mostly cash and carry but some do place orders as well.
The vendors are needlework designers, fabric and floss dyers, distributors and people who create products for the needlework market, such as, finishing trims, finishing boards, etc.
When I say needlework, I’m talking cross stitch, however, there is also punchneedle and some wool applique patterns as well.
This year we have 6 cross stitch charts, 2 cross stitch books and 4 punchneedle designs. All of them are available for pre-order at your favorite needlework shop so give them a call or preorder on their website so they can pick up your goodies in Nashville. Let’s dig in!

My Heart is Fed is the Nashville Exclusive!!
Which means it’s only available to the shops who come to Nashville.
Four weeks after the Nashville market it will be available for all shops to purchase.
Humble Cottage features three charts. Thy Neighbor, Happy House and I Live in a Cottage. Each are shown below.
Faithful Kind & True features a sampler, sewing roll, needle keep & drum which are shared below.
That’s it! Those are my Nashville Needlework releases for March 2025. Contact your favorite needlework shop to pre-order your favorites today.
Below is my Flosstube video where I share all of the information and inspiration for each design.
Green Coat Santa was first introduced in my Patreon July 2022. My friend, Denise, is a member of my Patreon and she stitched it for herself. I had the design charted with DMC floss. Denise wanted to use a variegated floss for his coat so she stitched him using Bayberry from Weeks Dye Works. It came out soooo good!
Most of the time I hire model stitchers to stitch my models for me so I have them to photograph, to show on my Flosstube video, to show at the Nashville market and to take with me to any retreats where I may have a pop-up shop.
However, when I was getting the Hello Santa book designed and ready for the publisher, I knew Denise and another sweet friend Dawna had already stitched some of the Santas for themselves so I asked to borrow their finished pieces to photograph for the book.
Denise of Dot Dot Goose Designs had stitched Green Coat Santa and she was so kind to let me borrow him. I intended to put her floss conversion in the book but I forgot. She only changed one color and it was the green of the coat.
Keep in mind, hand dyed floss can change over time. She stitched it 2 years before the book was released so the Weeks Dye Works Bayberry may be slightly different than what you see on the cover. Another good floss for the green coat is Grassland by Weeks Dye Works.
Sorry for any confusion this may have caused when you received your book and wondered what floss was used for his coat. Remember, I’m human and make mistakes too.
One last thing….Denise used 2 skeins of Bayberry from Weeks Dye Works because she stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count fabric. The chart in the book tells how many stitches for each floss color. To determine how many skeins you’ll need for the fabric count you are using, you can do the math using Lindy Stitches chart by clicking here.
The Jingle Ball 2024 was a huge success! We’ve had great feedback from those who attended the ball. Let’s start with what the Jingle Ball is all about. It’s a virtual cross stitch retreat/Christmas party with exclusive shopping, a 7 hour entertainment reel, stitching tables, speed dating, live meet and greets, classes AND a visit from Santa!
Where else can you stay in your PJs all weekend and stitch while enjoying hours of entertainment, join friends at a stitching table and make new friends…..only at the Jingle Ball!
Stephanie Webb of Lindy Stitches is the creator and host of this event. The first Jingle Ball was December 2022. Stephanie invites 11 designers to help create exclusive designs, host classes and create entertainment videos. To learn more, go here.
The event started 6pm eastern, Friday, Dec 6 and ended Sunday at midnight pacific time.
If you are a cross stitcher and have never heard of the Jingle Ball, you must join the email list so you can go next year! It really is a magical weekend where stitchers from all over the globe come together to chat, stitch, shop and laugh….all this for only $10!
I’ve been fortunate enough to have been invited to be a designer at all of the Jingle Ball events so this was my 3rd year. Boy it’s a lot of work but it’s so worth it to see the smile on so many faces.
Below are my exclusive designs for this year’s Jingle Ball. These designs will be released to the public a year from now.
I had some other exclusive products available in my shop. Mugs, totes, stickers and a Santa keychain.
Each designer is required to make an entertainment video…..back by popular demand, Kevin and I did our Mixology again this year. We mixed it up by adding in friends and our sweet pup Teeny. Below are a few fun photos from the video.
Drinks with Beth and Matt Twist at their lovely home when we were out in Oregon for the Acorns and Threads retreat.
A couple drinks were made with Denise of Dot Dot Goose Designs when we were together in the Fall for the Farmgirl retreat in Iowa followed by the Primitive Gatherings retreat in Wisconsin.
This year we included our beloved Teeny Woo for a non-alcoholic beverage.
We ended the video here at home in Michigan with Kevin and I.
The drinks this year were fantastic! If you would like the recipes, I have them as downloadable PDFs here.
I have all three of our Mixology videos available to watch in my Patreon. If you would like to learn more about Patreon, go here

This booklet is a full color large print chart of a family heirloom sampler. Early in 2023, Jeffrie Glass reached out to me to see if I would be interested in reproducing her great great aunt’s sampler. Julia Howard stitched the original sampler in the 1850s. I, of course, said yes and have enjoyed working on this project with Jeffrie.
The booklet includes a beautiful quote from Jeffrie about what this heirloom sampler means to her.

This was finished on one of Chantelle’s small bender boards. I painted it black and sanded it for a prim look. Click here to purchase your own.

I have 6 new releases. Four are from the Anabella’s All Things Spring retreat held in Lansing Michigan in April 2023 and two are from the Craft Gallery retreat held in Findlay Ohio in May 2023. I’m happy to be releasing them now as I’ve had many emails asking when they would be available to all.
Below are the 6 designs along with the back cover showing the threads and other important details. I hope you like them!
Bluebirds of Hope is a new release available for purchase ONLY through Clare’s Stitching Post in Vermillion Ohio. If you live near Clare’s Shop, you are lucky! Her shop is very sweet and located in a quaint town. You can pay her a visit and get everything you need to create what you see in the photo below: chart, fabric (16 count Aida, 36 and 40 count linen) threads, finishing board by Chantelle 141 and Lady Dot Creates rick rack. She also has the model on display.
If you don’t live near her shop but would like to place an order, please email your order to Clare’s shop and she will send what you need. She is not shipping the board due to shipping costs and packaging. You can purchase just the chart or a kit which includes chart, fabric and floss.
When you email your order, please include your name, address, email that you would like the PayPal invoice sent to and whether you want just the chart or a kit. If you order a kit please let Clare know what fabric you want included in your kit: 16 count Aida, 36 or 40 count linen.
Please be patient. Clare doesn’t have a large staff of people working for her. She is working as fast a she can to get your order shipped. She has been overwhelmed by the influx of orders in which she and I are both very grateful.
This design is exclusive to Clare’s Stitching Post for 1 year. In May 2025, it will be available to all shops.
